Katerina Ierodiakonou is Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Athens and Associate Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Geneva. She has published extensively on ancient and Byzantine philosophy, especially in the areas of epistemology and logic. She currently works on a monograph about ancient theories of colour (CUP), as well as on an edition, translation and commentary of Theophrastus’ De sensibus (Brill) and of Michael Psellos’ paraphrase of Aristotle’s De interpretatione (De Gruyter). She is responsible for three research programmes: Theophrastus’ De sensibus: critical edition, english translation and commentary (2021-2024 FNS, Switzerland), A Sourcebook of Byzantine Philosophy (2020-2023 ELIDEK, Greece), and Theories of Cognition in the Aristotelian Commentators (2018-2022 FNS, Switzerland).
