Dr Emmanouil Protonotarios has a degree in Physics from the Department of Physics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and an MSc degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Interdisciplinary Graduate Programme of the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications and the Department of Physics (NKUA). He also has an MRes degree in Modelling Biological Complexity with focus on Neuroscience, and a PhD in Visual Perception, both from University College London (UCL), UK. For his Graduate and PhD studies at UCL, he was supported by the Greek State Scholarship Foundation. Emmanouil Protonotarios has worked as a post-doc researcher on human and computer vision at the Griffin Lab at UCL, and on Visual Perception and Perceptual Decision-Making at the Landy Lab at the New York University, U.S.A. His research interests are: Experimental Psychology, Perception, Perceptual Decision-Making, Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience, and Mathematical Modelling of Biological Processes.
